I use Firefox everywhere which means I have ads blocking everywhere, including and especially on Android. All my tabs are synced and are easily transferred between devices.

I would suggest:

  • 1KB = storage capacity of 1 kg of 1.44 floppy disks.
  • 1MB = storage capacity of 0.0106 mile of CD drives.
  • 1GB = storage capacity of 1 good computer in the 2000s.
  • 1TB = storage capacity of 1 truck of GB (see above)

PS: just to be clear, I meant CD drives, not CD discs.

I regret looking up the clip: https://youtu.be/jNFOVkB6JjQ

Sorry to say to my UK friends, it looks like these people have no manners when it comes to debating. Asking a question and then proceeded to shout over them. I'm surprised they still have viewers.

I pirate because it's more convenient. No launcher, no update, no DRM, no need to be always online. I still purchase games but still play the pirated version.

This guy thinks he can do exactly what Trump does and get away with it like Trump seems to always do. The root cause must be fixed.

This reminds me to donate to uBlock Origin. The dev does not accept donations though. I can't imagine a fay without uBlock Origin.

If only smart glass is as popular as mobile phones. When Google introduced their smart glass, I dreamt of a day when a price history overlay is displayed when looking at a barcode, like how Keepa is doing for Amazon.

I also like German price display which has effective price, as in Eur per liter for drinks, making it dead simple to compare products. A smart glass will make it available everywhere.

Back to Carrefour, I really like that they are pushing pro consumer actions. However, we all know too well that they won't do the same when it's their products which are shrinking. Still better than no action though.

Making education so expensive that the only way for some to pursue education is to die for their country is a crime. If majority of your citizen view being part of army is only for poor people, your country does not deserve to be protected because obviously not enough people willing to fight for it. Turning your citizens into slaves and sending them into the meat grinder makes you a monster.

Russia invasion of Ukraine. They used to be number 2 army with sophisticated weapons. Now they are number 1 world laughing stock with weapons that works exceptionally well for invading Mars but not on earth.

Lindell was ordered to pay $5 million to a man who won a “Prove Mike Wrong” contest at his 2021 “cyber-symposium” where he challenged experts to examine his data, which he claimed proved Donald Trump really won the 2020 election.

It didn’t, and one expert who looked at the data demanded the prize.

Lindell refused to pay, so the case went to court, where he lost.

🤣

I worked as software engineer and my boss tolerated me going to office at 2pm and leave at 9pm. It's against company policy, certainly, but no one talked about it. It still is my most productive and happy time.

This is why maintaining your account there and keep deleting your comments/posts will destroy Reddit. Do it, you have the power.
