Loved seeing more of the Cetacean Ops crew, plus those ENT unis

Just a follow up to say thanks, that dock worked right out of the box! Almost bizarre to see it flash up on the TV immediately, guess that's the nature of sheer hardware combinations out there. Cheers again

The Visitor will always be one of the most beautiful Trek episodes to me, RIP good sir 🫡

What docks do you have? Might bite the bullet and just get one, in retrospect I should've just waited to see what would definitely work.

Nevertheless, I do appreciate the suggestions from everyone! Definitely didn't think to try it with another display, oops

Deck to LG TV (feddit.uk)

I feel a bit sheepish having to ask this, but has anyone successfully gotten their deck to display on a LG TV (C2 to be precise)? I have the official dock and that works for other devices like my laptop or surface pro but no dice with the deck itself.

I've tried various things like resetting the device, resetting the dock, changing the order of connection them all up but not managed to get anything to show it. I also checked that the HDMI cable I'm using works for up to 8k. A bit frustrating as one of the reasons I got the device was to be the living room PC/link to my gaming PC!

NFL (feddit.uk)

Any tips the best way(s) to watch the upcoming season? I'm also contemplating paying for DAZN (based in the UK)... with a temporary card that I can cancel given all the negative Trustpilot reviews

Just a small attempt to get more, or indeed any activity going here. I'm also genuinely curious, what have folks been listening to lately? If there's enough interest I could make this a monthly post.

For myself, a few below:

Irini - s/t: has probably become my fave Traumprinz/DJ Metatron album which says something, not just techno/trance/ambient but other styles like breaks/dnb scattered about

Air Liquide - Abuse Your Illusions: kicking myself that it took so long to get into them, still discovering a lot!

Sandwell District - Feed Forward: stone cold classic that fits most moods personally, RIP Juan

Moved to Protonmail earlier this year, just cancelled my Drive sub and am looking at switching to Mega

Number 2 was huge for me, and it hit home when I realised that 99% of my Steam library was supported. Thankfully I don't need to use any Windows only apps (Adobe suite, etc) so the decision to move over to Linux was trivial personally

Praying the Xperia 5 VI is a bit more compact that the previous iteration. That and Sony actually start supporting their services for at least 5 years -_-

I recently installed Pop on another device, everything is fine except for Pop Shop which seems to be missing apps that I already have installed through there on my main desktop.

I checked that I hadn't accidentally deleted/messed with the sources and they all look fine. These are common apps like Librewolf, Joplin and Standard Notes.

I know they can be installed through other methods like apt or appimage but am curious as to the possible reasons behind the discrepancy. What's more confusing is that I had a few attempts installing Pop (as recently as 10hrs ago) on this newer device and they appeared then!

Sad how far Android Police have fallen, as well as Google themselves

I adore this episode, especially later on when the SNW crew go fan crazy over the NX-01 crew with those Boimler and Mariner grinning in the background. That and Boim's Section 31 fast walk

Mike McMahan is a lifelong Trekkie and it shows! Whilst I do wish the references to other shows were toned down a smidge in favour of building new lore I always enjoy them hah. "Not the 'Gazer!"

Given (I believe) there's no mechanism for locals to get cheaper tickets, does anyone have any tips for grabbing cheaper day tickets? Wouldn't mind catching a fair few acts on Friday and Sunday, just not for £200+!
