It sucks. Here is the docs page about lemmy markdown. It consists of a bunch of colons and needs to be on its own line (can't be in-line).

One of the things that I think make this series better than a generic harem series is that Rentaro is a fantastic MC. He always goes above and beyond to make everybody happy. He never uses the looming threat of their death if they reject him to influence their desire to join his family. Really looking forward to this series if they keep it as wild as it has been so far. The crazier they get, the better.

I have seen elsewhere that it is a pun and can be loosely translated as either Frieren's at the funeral or Frieren caused the funeral. But I don't really know enough Japanese other than to say those are fairly liberal translations.

葬送 (sousou) literally just means funeral, フリーレン is Frieren and the の (no) in between usually indicates possession in some way.

This has been on my list to check out for a while. I played the tuba and trombone in band, so I was always euphonium-adjacent. I am glad to hear that the music holds up. There's nothing more frustrating than a music focused anime that doesn't deliver good music (or never let's you actually listen to it because the characters monologue over it). I will definitely be checking it out when I get a chance.

I thought that this moment might be a good point to ask peoples' opinions because of the temporary outage so that people saw what it might be like without the bot. I personally agree with you that automation can be beneficial and help facilitate community involvement. Also personally, I think that the current Shinobu is great, but wanted to see what others thought.

Thanks again for the hard work of keeping our Shinobu running.

Incredible start to this series. One of my favorite manga of all time, come to the new medium in an exceptional adaptation to the beginning arc of this story. So far, this series really rewards a careful viewing, providing so many details and emotion in the visuals on screen rather than having a character explain everything with exposition. The show isn't afraid to let time pass, not just in the story, but to linger on a shot, extend a montage, or have a silly sequence just to provide some characterization. This story, much like another of my favorites, Mushishi, embodies melancholy so well. I can't wait to see the rest of the series get this kind of treatment.

Dad is on board and we even see the return of Waluigi in the credits page!

Same! That is what motivated me to try to keep tabs on new oneshots posted to Mangadex. Here is my previous post listing some of the good ones I posted recently. Doing so has caused me to find out that most oneshots are just not very good or are more like art practice than anything else. A recent example is Battle. It is impressive art, but not really a story that I found interesting enough to post. A lot of oneshots don't even good art going for them, let alone a good story (example).

Well, this show continues to surprise me. This week it was a discussion about the challenges associated with menstruation in a fantasy setting.

Also, the new, shy hero character's design reminded me so much of Mitsurugi from Konosuba. I half expected him to start talking about his cursed sword.

Freaking love this series. Some solid gags this chapter including one of my favorite recurring bits where Cid thinks Claire is just a chuuni. Also loved his posing mid-air as he was flying away from an explosion (and the TL decided to make him speak in rhyme to top it off). Great to see the LN Vol 5 content getting the manga humor pass.

If you aren't aware, LN Vol 6 is coming out in Japan on October 30!

I have been enoying Helck, but it has been a slow burn so far story-wise. I have high hopes since they are doing 24 episodes that as the story builds, we will get some payoff later. Also, I have heard great things from source readers, so I am hoping that all the establishing and character building we are doing now will really benefit the show as it goes.
