Sabra requested that their two older children be allowed to keep going to their day care— with their familiar friends and routines—but the caseworker said no. The caseworker also continued to demand weekly check-ins with the Bruckers. Each time, she insisted on strip-searching the twins and commenting on natural bodily features, such as inverted nipples

The family declined this request. The new DCFS caseworker also informed Sabra that the Bruckers' case file was completely empty of investigative notes

Wow. Just wow. They should be filing a civil suit against the DCFS agent.

So this person was stripping children naked and examining their bodies, making grossly inappropriate comments about their body features, and their folder had not a single investigative note in it?

This agent should be behind bars, in genpop. while their assets given over to the victimized children and family.

Right? How is this not a criminal investigation

I know plenty of parents that would turn it into a criminal investigation that the ~~molester~~ "case worker" wouldn't be around for.

And rightly so. That goes way beyond "normal" or "acceptable"
