Amazon’s recommendations are getting a little too creepy
(www.vox.com)
This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
Use it less. Or none. Solved.
Wow you solved every data privacy problem. Just don't be a consumer, why didn't I think of that? It's not the companies that are the problem, it's our fault!
yeah but tbh if you buy your groceries from amazon you probably didn't care about data privacy at all ever
I bought groceries online a few times during the pandemic, never before or after that, and not on Amazon, only at a grocery store chain's web shop. Good luck recommending anything to me based on what I eat.
Man uses crack, has health issues. More news at 11
There's lots of great reasons to use bezos' services less. Ranging from ethical to security
This is not the "lol gottem" you think it is bro. I hope you're just trolling. Lol
What the fuck does that have to do with this ? You do not need Amazon. It's a luxury service with questionable ethics.
The burn is admitting you use Amazon at all.
I very, very seldomly use it. But infighting like you're advocating for is exactly what giga corporations want us to do. What we SHOULD be doing is demanding better policies from companies, and electing officials who will enforce those demands.
The rich want us to fight each other so we forget it's us vs them and we vastly outnumber them. Don't fall for it.
I'm not fighting you, I'm calling out people addicted to bezosmilk, going on to complain about the taste.
Although if anyone is on the side of gigacorp consumption as the appropriate pattern, then I am fighting that behavior. (Especially when what's offered is a market of luxury convenience)
Not engaging with gigacorps is the way.
Like, I'm not gonna care about defending the position of addiction. It's like the sports gambling meme
