West Texas is oil drilling and churches
And ranches (or at least it used to be; I haven't been in over a decade)
Still stuck in There Will Be Blood.
Dallas is pretty blue right now as well. Would I say "left-wing"? No, but I doubt the average Dallas resident is feeling that happy with people like Trump, Cruz or Abbott.
Same with most of Harris county.
East Texas was spot on, though.
