[Meta] don't post right away
(lemmy.ca)
At the end of every day, write about at least one of the most interesting things from the day. Try to get better at making the audience interested and at recognizing good possibilities of things to talk about, so you can connect with people better in real life. Avoid things that you wouldn't do in unplugged conversation, especially including images.
In addition to posting here, private journaling is an option.
Talking about something is slightly more fun if the other people have not already seen a Lemmy post that says the same thing, and using this Lemmy community as originally intended significantly reduces the amount of discussion-worthy things that haven't been told online before.
Sure I guess. Just makes no sense to me. Lol.
Is the set of people you’ll be talking to really overlapped with the set of people who’ll be reading this community?
Probably not. I probably thought of this because computer programming habituates very strict foresight.
