Toph will be played by Miya Cech, a 17 year old actress of Chinese & Japanese descent. She does not have any sight impairments. She was adopted by Czech parents (hence the last name). For an amusing tidbit, she was in a movie called 'a great divide'. photo of Miya Cech Her imdb

Netflix has just announced that season 2 of the live action series is now in production.

Way better than anticipated for me. Hard to see how they could have done much better. Sure they change things, but they actually did a really good job working together some plot lines into a shortened version. It’s not the animated show and it never could be, but I really think it’s pretty good as long as you can separate them in your head.

To say nothing of the RPG that not only throws the doors wide for all sorts of interpretation and exploration of the world itself — its rules system prioritizes creative solutions and storytelling by everyone at the table. 🤘🏽🤓 (It even includes a great fan-tested version of Pai Sho!)
