Who else has seen the movie? What did you think? I saw it once in the theater and look forward to seeing it again on streaming. I would say it was the best movie since Alien 3 for me. I enjoyed the android character immensely and thought that actor had a great performance. Overall, I thought it was very good, probably a B or B+ from me.

Did anyone else pick up and read issue #1? I did, but was somewhat underwhelmed. Not sure if I will stick with the series. The art and some of the action sequences were well done though.

Did anyone pick up and read the first issue? I thought it was quite well done and a nice return to the 'Long Halloween' series.

I’m sure he would have been good but I appreciate him opting out for artistic reasons if that is what happened.

I think the article’s connection to some of the aspects of the source material is relevant as well. As long as the conversation stays civil, I don’t see a problem with its inclusion in this community.

I’ve been really enjoying this series so far. Great art and Wolverine/Predator action. Anyone else enjoying it?

Hi! Thanks to the devs for their great work with this app. I've enjoyed using it as my primary since the latest update. I was wondering if there are plans to implement different theme (highlight) colors instead of the standard blue. I like the blue just fine, but would sure love other options to choose from like Lemmy's mint green. I imagine other users would welcome this option as well. Thanks for the consideration! ✌️ 🙂

Same! Kudos to devs and I’ll try using this as my main app for a bit and see how it goes.

Ahsoka = C+. Zahn’s novel trilogy it is not. Not even close in terms of quality or narrative. Not a single ‘wow’ or ‘woah’ moment. Some ‘that’s kinda cool’ moments. It has some good lightsaber action and Ahsoka and Baylon are cool characters but the show suffers from questionable plotting and dialogue, slow pacing, underutilization of Thrawn as an antagonist and a requirement to be familiar with Rebels to understand most of it. It would have been better as a 2–3 hour movie. At least Andor S2 is yet to come. Oh and…Zombie stormtroopers? Really?!?

Anyone else have this on their radar?

Good point. Well-maintained ‘02 Honda CR-V here with 186k miles. I bike to work when weather and climate conditions allow which is most days May–November where I live. We got a second hand Tesla last year because my wife commutes a lot for work. With the latest news, I may try and hold onto the CR-V for even longer than next 2–3 years.

If it works for someone’s specific case than this is most certainly the way. 👊🏻

If presented with a binary choice between minimizing carbon footprint with privacy-evasive EV or sticking with more polluting ICE vehicle and keeping privacy, what would you choose? Which choice is more ethically sound? What is more important between mitigating human-caused climate change or preserving individual human privacy? 🤔

Yup. I still wished we lived in a universe where the 'Scouring of the Shire' was at least filmed as a deleted scene. It's an important book end to the Fellowship Hobbits' arcs.

Lol! I can’t prove that as I agree with you. My spare time is just limited, so mobile or retro gaming is what I do on rare occasions.

Well, not that movie. ;) Certainly the upcoming cartoon film with the original creators.

Yes. There is other news out there, but here is one quick article link, https://www.ign.com/articles/blade-runner-2099-amazon-announces-live-action-series.
