Like most jokes here, this one is just very outdated. I have literally never had to compile a package myself.
I honestly can't tell if this place is a joke, it seems like literally one or two users with serious hate boners for Linux lmao. The vast, vast majority of posts are posted by OP here.
OP is also the sole community mod and has been very busy banning people and deleting comments.
