What happened?
My excitement for all of this has disappeared. I don’t want to put any more money into it. I’ll still be around on a different account that I had before I launched my own.
Seems like the instance owner got burned out, happens sadly
I would really love an official way to transfer ownership of a server. I suppose as long as the domain can transfer and the docker volumes are zipped up it could be migrated anywhere
We did it for feddit.uk, worked out fine - the main hassle was contacting the AWOL Admin. Then it was a matter of starting the transfer of the image files and going off to do something Interesting.
Good, how is it going over there at feddit.uk? I forgot the last owner just kind of ghosted
It's all going well - everything is fully-funded and ticking along nicely.
