Carbon capture has to be the stupidest climate action to ever hit humanity. It's, and I'm not being hyperbolic, completely and utterly useless. We already have a faster, more efficient, nature borne carbon capture, it's called trees. Maybe instead of watering down the deforestation law in Europe, the MEPs should have thought of that.
It's a con, supported largely by the same companies who have already been committing ecocide.
