So, back to my question: do you have some kind of mental issues?

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 0 points 23 hours ago

Why are you in this thread again?

[-] FelixCress@lemmy.world 0 points 23 hours ago

So, back to my question you are REALLY trying to avoid: do you have some kind of mental health issues?

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 1 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 23 hours ago)

Oh wow, you've really turned the tables on me there, I don't know what to do now that you've capitalised "really".

You can't address anything in the thread. You can't change your comment. You can't change your tactic. You just repeat, repeat, repeat. I can address anything. I could even talk about my own mental health issues, which of course I've had, I'm an adult. You're not an adult, and you haven't recognised any of your own issues (one of which I just diagnosed for you a few comments ago, LOL), I would wager. Which is why you say childish things like "depression is just in your head" (despite being shown very simple science showing you're incorrect) and which is why you think your question is somehow a gotcha or an insult. It's genuinely making my belly tickle with laughter that you're serious about your comments.

Depression isn't "just in your head." You're wrong. But you simply can not accept it. :)

So, to come back to the merit here: do you have some kind of mental issues?

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 0 points 22 hours ago

You already know you've taken the L, but now you're trying to prove me wrong. About anything. Like how I said "you will give up."

You will.

Because I can change my comments, but you can't. My profile won't look like an insane person's, will it?

Depression, just like your obsession, isn't "just in your head." Me writing this is literally changing the hormones in your body because of how hard I trigger you by reminding you of how big of an L you've taken. Your blood is literally boiling.

So, back to the issue on hand - do you have some kind of mental issues?

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 0 points 22 hours ago

I'll give you a week, maybe two that you'll be able to keep this up. And think of what your profile will look at that point. You'll try to make a point about anything in any thread, people will check your profile and see that there's three weeks of you repeating a single comment.

Do you think they'll perceive you as an authoritative and credible person? ;D

I'm honestly curious as to how long you will keep this childish shit up.

You took a big fat L. Deal with it.

[-] FelixCress@lemmy.world 0 points 21 hours ago

So, are you going to answer the question? Do you have some kind of mental issues?

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 0 points 20 hours ago* (last edited 20 hours ago)

Oh the question of "is depression really just in your head"?

It isn't. You're incorrect.

You need to learn to accept when you're wrong. I looked at your posts, and you post shit I agree with. You're just clearly not experienced in controlling your emotions. You don't know me and I don't know you, yet you allow this obsession over me mocking you for being wrong to control you so badly that you ruin your entire account for it.

Get a grip, kiddo. We need people who are able to control themselves. Everyone is wrong now and then. Accept it and move on. You don't even need to correct me. Just fucking stop replying. I won't. I promise you that.

So, coming back to my question - do you have some kind of mental issues, in your head?

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 0 points 7 hours ago

Truly pitiful.

But eh, the facts remain. I can discuss anything and I won be leaving this thread. Enjoy your tantrum mr "depression is just in your head".

How long do you think you'll be able to keep this up? A few days? A few weeks?

You have no options. You can't stand behind your words. Anyone in this thread will see how childish you're being. I'm being stubborn. You're being childish and stubborn.

I don't mind being seen as stubborn. Do you mind being seen as childish? Even if you now started deleting all these comments, it wouldn't help.

Depression isn't just in your head. That's incorrect. You're not capable admitting to mistakes? Or are you pretending like you don't make mistakes? You're superhuman, and you're literally never wrong about anything. Hmm... I wonder who would have that sort of an attitude? Oh right, arrogant teenagers, lol.

So, back to my question: do you have some kind of mental health issues?

[-] Dasus@lemmy.world 0 points 3 hours ago

I can diagnose you with a few if you'd like.

And I have, actually. Let's just put a reminder here for anyone checking in on the thread, since it's like a dozen or more comments since I linked it.

https://www.understood.org/en/articles/perseveration-adhd-and-learning-differences

People who perseverate often say the same thing or behave in the same way over and over again. But they can get stuck on their emotions, actions, and thoughts, too. And they do it past the point where it makes sense or will change anything.

Don't worry, help is available. You just got to ask.

I'm betting this is the deepest and most stubborn thread you've ever been in. For me, this doesn't even break the top-20. You're amateur league, and you will give up, eventually. Until then, you're permanently ruining any credibility that account has, because you said something silly about depression and now you're trying to cover that small mistake by publicly humiliating yourself.

I've genuinely seen this exact same thing from hundreds of people on forums through the years. It's nothing new and it never works. You just work yourself up. You need to learn how to let go.
