A lot of this is because they see plastics as the way to keep on extracting oil even if countries decide that burning it isn't a good idea.

They've also opposed efforts to limit that problem.

Indeed.

Evil is everywhere with capitalism. The point is that where there is a slight bit of chance to reduce the level of evilistic ideas , it should be tried at least.

Qatar is a very rich country with ample of money. It could have properly facilitated with a bit of human treatment for the foreign labourers coming from not so rich countries in order to earn and provide for their family. Was it impossible to do? I have heard that the rules are quite strict in countries like Qatar , Saudi , UAE regarding corruption.

USA , Brazil and etc etc are also evil in the name of capitalism. I agree.

The universal truth about rich people everywhere, is that they never feel like they have enough money.
