Shuji Utsumi, Sega’s co-CEO, comments in a new statement that there is no point in implementing blockchain technology if it doesn’t make games ‘fun’.

According to the wiki, that was a platform launched back in 2021, and it sounds like it didn't go well lol. And apparently squenix "said that they consider blockchain technology critical to their growth." LOL
