To put into perspective, in Vietnam, 12 eggs cost only $1.22 maximum (this is considered expensive).

What is the median American income btw?

I never found eggs to be expensive but i do hate eggs and only use them to make desserts, and some people i know have been complaining that they have gotten expensive so idk. Much more interestingly at least for me how much is rice in Vietnam i used to be able to get a 20 lbs sack for like $3 here (on sale but it last so long that u can always get it on sale before u need more) but after covid even $15 is rare, its still ok cuz it was so cheap to begin with but 5x the price in 4 years hurts.
