crazy we're still in 2009's minimum wage, that should be updated every year
That is why it is so important that of/when a minimum wage hike happens that tied with it is an periodic inflationary based raise is attached to the bill.
That won't happen unless it's after a bloody revolution
My state rejected to adjust minimum wage to the cost of living index. It would have yearly adjusted the wage with the cost of rent, food, healthcare, etc. and then still allow it to be increased by other means.
I still am blundered by this, but I know corporate and republican propaganda got to them.
