You have one party led by a Nazi, you have a Nazi party.

If you have one party led by a Nazi, and the other party invites and allows "peaceful" talks, you have two Nazi parties.

Trump is a Nazi, acting like you're just doing your job of transition of power means you're handing the keys to the Nazis.

Dems: We will never bow down to fascists!

Also Dems: We love to reach across the aisle, we can build some of the border wall!

Dems: Trump is quoting Hitler and his followers are enjoying it.

Also Dems: Look how many former Trump supporters love us! That means we'll will!

Why do try to get the "ravid racist redneck" vote instead of a united front to stop fascists by giving aid to BIPOC, women, and queers?

The only thing that pissed me off more than Trump winning, was seeing how many good Props failed, and bad ones passed.

I'm glad we made LGBT marriage part of our constitution, but jesus christ the voting base here is NIMBYs, NeoLibs, and Conservatives.

Fucking awesome. Onion has been hitting it hard lately, and this is just the cherry on top. I am hopeful this makes some chuds question their minds.

I would love this.

America: Establishes military bases, missile silos, CIA blacksites, international espionage agreements to violate the rights of the citizens in dozens of countries, has invaded and overturned governments because they disagree with what the president wants, calls itself the world police.

Americans: "Why are so many non-Americans invested in what goes on in our country? I know we're a big deal, but why would anyone be interested? Must be paid actors and bots! I don't care about French elections, why would they care about American?"

Biden tells the sad paid for truth, Trump sells paid for lies.

Both won't change that most American wages aren't going up, prices are. Certainly won't with tariff going to 60%.

Biden didn't really do much for the average American. He could demanded higher wages, pushed for healthcare coverage, and investigated price hiking. And arrested Trump. He did some, but for a man who is currently a sitting duck who is above the law, he's choosing the safest/"easiest for the rich" option as a presidential RBG.

Trump won't do much, but will loudly shit out that he did, and his followers will eat it up and ask for more.

Every accusation is a confession.

In a way, he did. Star Trek helped to break the racial barriers of 1960's America, and inspired a generation of scientists and engineers to invent things that we use commonly today.

There was an entire generation of people who saw what Star Trek brought to the TV screen, and wanted to bring it into reality. Gene saw thousands of fans were inspired to become a better person because of an idea he had one day.

People saw an interracial kiss on screen for the first time. Some were outraged, most didn't see a problem. Some saw a Japanese person working equally with white crewmen while Japanese-Americans still were treated like garbage and had their possessions still stripped from them.

Roddenberry intended the show to have a progressive political agenda reflective of the emerging counter-culture of the youth movement, though he was not fully forthcoming to the networks about this. He wanted Star Trek to show what humanity might develop into, if it would learn from the lessons of the past, most specifically by ending violence. An extreme example is the alien species known as the Vulcans, who had a violent past but learned to control their emotions. Roddenberry also gave Star Trek an anti-war message and depicted the United Federation of Planets as an ideal, optimistic version of the United Nations.[15] His efforts were opposed by the network because of concerns over marketability, e.g., they opposed Roddenberry's insistence that Enterprise have a racially diverse crew.[16]

Gene didn't live to see a post-scarcity, no violence, bigotry free society, but he inspired people to achieve it. Gene died happy with knowing he sparked an entire idea into action, some day in the future.

In the canon of Star Trek, humanity had a series of eugenics wars, wars for resources, and then capped it off with a World War 3 where the Geneva conventions were scrapped with nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons used by every world power.

The mess was still being cleaned up and the effects of hundreds of millions dead is when people went "Why did we ever hate each other? What did some dude in the African Union do to piss off some dude in the European Alliance, that pissed off some dude in China?"

And then when Zefram Cochrane used the Phoenix to test warp flight, everyone truly went "...Holy shit, we're not alone. We can fix this for everyone."

The second amendment was to defend Americans from tyranny. Trump is that. Use of force in self defense is justified.

"The soap box, the ballot box, the jury box, the cartridge box. Use them in that order."

"If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it, he is obligated to do so."

  • Thomas Jefferson

Were the people who fought against the rapid corruption and authoritarianism of Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, and Stalin-era Russia unjust for refusing to obey the laws that told them to kill Jews, Chinese and anarchists?

Were the slave abolitionists in America wrong for freeing slaves, by illegal means? Were women who pushed for greater bodily autonomy by disobeying sexist laws incorrect?

It is your moral duty to resist any law that imposes an unjust inequality to anyone and everyone.

You call out Russia or China, MLs think if they regurgitate "read theory" that solves my issues with them.

You call out American liberals and how they aid fascists, you're calling a secret Trump supporter.

You say that genocide is an evil action, liberals and Tankies will defend their favorite country's actions because you're a shill for the enemy if you do.

You say America did something kinda good, you're somehow a neolib in disguise. You lightly praise the USSR, you're Stalin's second cousin as an AI.

I just don't want people harmed by a government force. Fuck me, I guess? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills for applying the same morals to every politician and country, even ones I live in or slightly like.

Edit: If someone said it was annoying being an leftist and a bunch of liberals came in exusing their actions and doubling down, everyone would be singing a different tune. Just kinda fascinating.
