I, too, am from an area like that. At some point Jesus people have some dignity. Reading that, 2.5 hours, at minimum wage that's just over $18. In that time you could have worked and just ordered a pizza.
So I guess if you are really at federal minimum wage that price would be worth the wait. If you make above minimum wage congrats, you devalued yourself, you would have done better just paying for the pizza.
I think the same about people who wait half an hour in the Costco gas lines to buy gas for slightly less. How much are you saving vs the value of your time sitting there? Time is the most precious thing we have on this planet and people will sit waiting for a few cents off gas or hours on already cheap pizza.
