Annoying neighbour has cottoned on to Boyo owning a fair few tools and made noises that sounded like a cash hire attempt. This isn't a good idea for many reasons.

There is exactly one neighbour I loan tools to. He's one of the good ones and honest to a fault. I've borrowed gear from him before (his suggestion) and we've helped each other out.

Anyone else can admire my tools from a distance.

Pretty sure he wanted the man and the tools. Much more time required on that to not be perceived as 'The Help' or whatever nonsense

Oh hell no. That's a slippery slope and a half.

You help out, person is unhappy, and somehow it's your fault.

I fell for that once not happening again. Stay away from that whole situation if possible.
