I mean there's still sitcoms and none of them look like this.
I don't know any of these. Do normal people watch tv anymore?

Abbott Elementary is a nice light hearted show. It's a good palette cleanser to watch after heavier, more serious stuff.
Why the fuck is there a Letterkenny spinoff about Shoresy?!?
Give yer balls a tug
Why the fuck did it take so long to get him out of the shitter and on to the screen?
No frills list if you don't want to click the link
Animal control is really funny if you like parks and rec style comedy and don’t hate Joel McHale too much. It’s leaving Hulu in 12 days though.
I tried to watch mid century modern, but it has a fucking laugh track and I ran out of patience for that a few decades ago.

It's always sunny in Philadelphia is way better than anything else on this list (that i recognize)
It's the only thing I recognize and, yes, it's good.
Young Sheldon is a spin-off to one of the most infamously unfunny sitcoms of all time.
IaSiP is incredibly famous and adored online. I couldn't even make it through one episode, myself.
St Denis I only know because my parents are obsessed with any medical show. It's basically trying so hard to be Scrubs, but without the charm.
Describing Harley Quinn as a sitcom doesn't sit well with me. It is great, though.
I haven't even heard of any of the others.
I get 2nd hand embarrassment for everyone making/watching the show every time I remember young Sheldon exists.
Surprising you're on the internet and haven't heard of always sunny given it's about to start its 17th season, but I guess it might just not be your kind of thing after all
Agree about whatever the hell else is making up that list though
I've heard of young sheldon and always sunny, but that's about it. Definitely not the top 2 though and I don't watch any of them.
The only thing I know about Abbott Elementary is that the first episode of the new season of Always Sunny is going to be a crossover episode, as both take place in Philadelphia.
More specifically, the first episode of the new season of Always Sunny is a retelling of the crossover episode they already had as part of the most recent season of Abbott Elementary, but this time from the perspective of the Always Sunny characters
What an insane thing to ask. 'normal people' is hard to define but yes the average person still watches TV. Plenty of weirdos still play for cable, most people stream, and I believe most on the fediverse probably sail the high seas as I do, but we're all still watching TV.
Really? You don't know any of them? You don't even know It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, a show that's been on since 2005? Abbott Elementary, Animal Control, and St. Denis Medical are all really good sitcoms, and aside from Joel McHale nobody looks like AI. Idk if it counts but Harley Quinn is pretty funny as well. Point is there's some pretty popular shows here, I doubt you're being genuine when you say you don't know any of them, and aside from that they're all starring real looking, real people. In fact I'd argue TV shows have never in the past cast as many normal looking people as they currently do.
I was with you until the last sentence. US Tv. rarely had real looking people on it but much of the wold seems to be ok with actors not always looking like models
That is my point exactly. The actors on St. Denis Medical and Animal Control are much more diverse looks-wise than sitcoms like Friends or How I met Your Mother or anything people praise from the past.
And Im saying UK TV has lots of uggos on it who can act
Why are you so angry? As I said in another comment, I've heard of 2 of them, so I was sort of exaggerating. Out of 25, that's not many and I don't watch any of them. I don't consider myself a normal viewing person. Now chill.
What gave you the impression that I'm angry? And given that in response to me you've taken back what you've said and clarified you were exaggerating both your lack of knowledge on the topic and your claims regarding the average person it sounds like you're angry at me that I called you on those. Let's call the whole thing off.
Not that serious man. Have a great day.
Are you attempting to troll me? You replied to me. I refuted your comment and you tell me to calm down, which for you to act like a basic conveyance of information is emotionally charged is a common troll tactic. I then ask what you're talking about and you tell me it's not that serious. Well it's serious now, buddy! You better start talking or I am going to FREAK. THE. FUCK. OUT. You interacted with me. You wanted this.
Bro
U mad?
I wasn't trolling you, but I kind of want to know what you really freaking the fuck out looks like.
Calm down. :)
Well it doesn't look like text lol Just having some fun with you. Work is a slog today -_-
I figured. You made me miss reddit a little, lol.
*not really
Why is US ghosts number one? It's terrible. The UK one is a million times better.
If someone is more familiar with this than me, does it get better after the first few episodes? It just seems like a hamfisted knock off to me without the soul of the original.
Like with most shows brought over from the UK, the us version lost a lot of it's soul, but it builds it back up over the course of the first season. It can be a little silly sometimes, and it's definitely it's own little creature by now, but it's actually pretty good. My mom loved it before she passed, and I quite like it.
Or do they and we have a skewed sense of reality?
