EDIT: Coincidentally, I turned off prevent cross-site tracking, because I got sick of raindrop.io signing me out constantly. However, that seemed, I think, to have solved this issue. The only other thing I changed was to turn on the compact tabs view, but I don’t see how that possibly could have had any effect on this whatsoever. So I think maybe the cross-site tracking prevention thing is broken, or something along those lines

For me also, only iPad, not iPhone 15 pro.

  • Relative new M1 iPad Air
  • Some screen damage but no visible impact on video
  • only 1/3 storage used
  • solid networking
  • private relay
  • <12 tabs

Admittedly it’s been a while since I rebooted, or restarted Safari

Symptoms

  • Lemmy UI glitchy, occasionally an empty template with no content. Sometimes links to a previous story instead of the expected ones
  • occasional Lemmy screen freezes
  • YouTube crashes, sometimes video cuts out and continues with audio only.

These are my most frequently used sites on this iPad, so I don’t know if they’re really connected or just the odds make them look that way
