Russia hasn't fully understood their position and what's best for them even after over a decade of conflict, with 3 years of direct war, so I don't expect Iran to wake up so soon unless they get a new and better leadership.

China doesn't seem to be learning much either, considering they did nothing when they had a big chance with the attack on their officials by the colonists a few weeks back.
