At Least 41 Killed in Israeli Attacks Across Gaza Today, Including 11 Seeking Aid

Of the 11 people killed while trying to reach food aid, three were children struck on Al-Mansoura Street in Shejaiya, Gaza City. Three others were civilians shot dead near a distribution site west of Rafah. Al-Awda Hospital in central Gaza also reported receiving five bodies and 15 injured—four critically—after Israel attacked aid seekers near Wadi Gaza (Netzarim Corridor).

Breakdown of today’s reported deaths (via Al Jazeera): ➤ 18 in southern Gaza ➤ 5 in central Gaza ➤ 10 in Gaza City’s Shujayea and Zeitoun neighborhoods ➤ 5 in Tuffah, east Gaza City, when Israel struck a group

In the last hour, Wafa reports five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on Gaza City’s Tuffah neighborhood. And two Palestinians have been killed in an Israeli drone strike east of Khan Younis, in the south.

“There is a sense that the Israeli army is taking advantage of the diverted attention away from Gaza to carry out more deadly attacks on Palestinians,” Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reported from Gaza City.
