Assholes.
They should hit Apple with the penalty for breaking the spirit of the agreement.
I wonder if Europeans should have a case when they want to do 31 days of business travel and Apple cut off their apps.
“No problem, here’s the exemption form; please attach your itinerary and a blood sample”
That’s what Apple Vision Pro is for. Now, you can stay home and imagine your destination in isolation. And you’ll have to stay home because the battery life will keep you tethered to a pretty reliable power source.

Anyone know the whole range of the enabling technologies for the geofencing?
Look at the nearby WiFi networks, check GPS, see what cell towers are around, (Apple account registration location)…?
Core Location is a multi-sensor system process in iOS. GPS, WiFi, cellular, Bluetooth, accelerometer, altimeter in order (as of ~5 years ago)
