Indeed!

This is not to say that separately they shouldn’t separately and sooner (more easily) ban lead.

Problem is companies like to use global accounting schemes to hide/move profit.

If it was “5% of profit in the EU” then overnight Apple would suddenly make 0 profit in the EU due to “brand licensing fees” to Apple Cayman Islands Incorporated.

I don’t know what the big fuss is about, the whole project has been a roaring success, and looks to continue delivering for another decade.

…you didn’t think the purpose was to improve public transport did you? 🎩💰

Did not know that was a thing! Sure beats chemical pesticides for naturalness AND cuteness 🌼

What’s going on here?

Forgive the ignorance!

Just to say I would love for an iPad Pro to replace my MacBook, but without root file system access or a bash/zsh terminal it wouldn’t work.

Does the new multitasking stuff and liquid glass work well on the base iPad that’s a couple of hundred bucks?

Can’t justify having two super powerful four figure devices that have such overlap otherwise (for me).

My first time growing chilli plants. The seeds I collected from market chillis have come a long way since being planted in February!

Like how did these even work??

Yeah definitely a difference between people running bot accounts, and game generated bot players (clearly labelled) to make up the numbers for real players to enjoy.

Fully rolled Lemmy themes you can add to the Stylus browser extension are out there! E.g. https://github.com/hanubeki/hanubeki-lemmy-themes

For me, it the Cherry Bakewells.

I’m talking about this sort of thing. Like clearly I wouldn’t want someone to see that on my phone in the office or when I’m sat on a bus.

However there seems be a lot of these that aren’t filtered out by nsfw settings, when a similar picture of a woman would be, so it seems this is a deliberate feature I might not be understanding.

Discuss.

Murena offer a degoogled /e/os version of the fairphone 5.

I’m wondering if there are any catches… eg

  • have google privacy issues been replaced with murena ones?
  • would we still expect the 8-10 years of updates?
  • would there be any driver issues eg worse camera/face unlock/fingerprint experience?

Also if anyone has had one (murena or stock) since launch, how is it working out?

After too much time spent on google I finally found this lightweight GUI + CLI tool that finds locally installed games (yes including non-steam games running under proton) and thought I'd spread the gospel!

Combeined with something like dropbox/onedrive/nextcloud, or rsync/borg/syncthing etc you've got yourself cloud backups too.

Zero configuration involved so far on my Steam Deck which is nice as well.

Forgive me if it's old news ☺️
