Good chance 9/11 wouldn't happen. And if it did, I doubt Gore would drop his baby of climate change.

Saw a fair argument that 911 might not have happened if Florida has been settled sooner, even if it were still a bush victory.

Evidently party of the dysfunction and delay with intelligence agencies was due to a somewhat botched transition due to the uncertainty. Maybe they still would have missed it, but there's at least a reasonable chance it would have been caught.
