I knew it wasn't honest, that's why I came here. It seems the West won't put as much into crushing Nazi regimes and purging every Nazi in it because we would prefer to embrace our demons, rather than admitting we're still in a trauma-bonded struggle love with them. And so we demonize the solution, lest they rid us of our demons. Better the devil you know, I suppose. :-/
