Last I heard when they opened the stasi archives they found out none of that was true and the stasi went against actual criminals and spies and left citizens alone.
You'd have thought they already realized that thirty years ago when the liberals emptied the prisons of formerly communist countries only to realize the inmates actually were murderers, r*pists, etc.
We're talking about a (west) country that put orphaned children in the care of pedophiles here!
I have virtually zero knowledge, but I know the Western narrative is more charitable to fascists and erasing/rewriting of leftist history. That's why I came here.
