I feel like LeopardsAteMyFace could really be distorting our perception of MAGA voters since 1) we don't know what percentage of MAGA voters are now making these sorts of posts, and 2) these posts could be fake. Plus, if there are more D->R converts than R->D converts, which LeopardsAteMyFace ofc wouldn't show us as it is by its nature selective, then paying any sort of attention to the sub would be completely misleading. All that LeopardsAteMyFace does is provide a steady stream of vindication – but there's no guarantee it's indicative of the actual situation. Just a warning.
100% agree. For every 1 who realizes that the leopards are eating their face, there's 100 who are moisturizing their faces in exoticly spiced butters.
So much of the sub is purely reactionary "I'm actually glad the Gestapo is brutalizing people" dogshit takes.
It's everything Lemmy denizens say they hate about .ml or hexbear, but somehow worse because the joke only ever seems to land when the people with the guns are fascists.
