They'll happily believe their God orcastrated the birth, entire life, and eventual sacrifice of Jesus to make up for the sin of Adam and Eve, yet they refuse to believe their God could've possibly acted to aid them by orcastrating the lives of several smart individuals for the sake of humanity?

Their God is literally meant to be omnipotent and omniscient, there is no number of pawns too great for God to move to help their creations, but they still can't convince their creations to not wait on some stupid super-healing light ray from the heavens instead of taking what's in front of them.

Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omnibenevolent. This is what Christians believe their god to be. There's only one problem. They are irreconcilable with the sheer amount of human suffering in the world when one takes into account the existence of "miracles".

Miracles means their god picks and chooses. Picking and choosing is antithetical to Omnibenevolence. This is one of the big reasons I'm pagan now. No "Omni-" stuff to reconcile lol.

Their god is based on a war god. It was never omnibenevolence. Jesus’ teachings tried to retcon and change the image of the vengeful war god. That’s why his teachings was seen as blasphemous. But it doesn’t matter what Jesus said. Christians still believe it’s the same god that made first contact with Abraham. So it is still the war god.

I thought he was a fusion of 2 different Canaanite gods. El and YHWH? Maybe I'm confused. But If memory serves, a rain and a war god. Could be wrong tho.

I misread as Canadian gods so I got REALLY confused

That sounds super interesting, I never learned about that in school.

A very fair historical assessment. I only meant modern teachings and was basing it off my theology classes in high school and college. The Catholics are very fond of their absolutism lol. They'll put Omni in front of anything.

This was argued before Christ:

Epicurus’s old questions are yet unanswered. Is he willing to prevent evil, but not able? then is he impotent. Is he able, but not willing? then is he malevolent. Is he both able and willing? whence then is evil?

God is an orca?

Yeah. I feel like this meme puts more into religion than the usual "if god is real, why he can't dm me?" sort of thing. Yeah, if you speak to more educated religious person, they will say that God manifest itself in every action and object that there is to exist, he doesn't need to appear as he is, he appears as his creations, and it is everything that there is around. But there's is something really messed up with religion and that is evil. Your average Joe religious person will be dotrinated by an priest that X thing is evil because God said so. He is just stupid, and not his religion or needing to believe in a bigger and greater being out there. Someone just took advantage of his spiritual side and can control him.

If Christian God exists and is as commonly accepted (i.e. onmi-everything), even if you believe that God does not need to show up and say hello, I still think that this meme has a point. One cannot be, by the meaning of our language, all powerful and super nice while not making the world a utopia. If life is a test and God can see the future, why have the test at all?

I don't want to question anyone's beliefs, I'm just not able to comprehend the mindset because religion has never been part of my life.
