Why do we call oligarchs by their first names as if they were relatable?
Because the lesson they took away from the French Revolution is that if you make a strict class separation where "well bred" people are different from "dirty peasants", the peasants will eventually cut your head off.
If they pretend "we're just like you, and through hard work, you can become rich like me", then peasants will line up to defend them.
