Not letting them off, just as soon as some are sacrificed, whoever is left gets a free pass as the matter is officially over. You can cry about it all you want and protest and bitch that it wasn't what you wanted, but its over, and the news cycle moves on, and you missed your chance.
Sure, getting some sounds better than getting none, but when its clearly being used as a political weapon involving one of the most powerful positions on the planet, it suddenly gets a little worrying.
That's a fine argument... I guess the question is whether the news and the anger will continue to hold up for the next three and a half years until we (hopefully) have the chance to get someone in office who will actually release the files unredacted. I don't believe for a second that Trump will. If the choice was between getting some of them now or all of them later, I'd take the latter, of course, but if the choice is between getting some of them now or none of them ever, I'd prefer the former.
