Good point. You think that's what the 2 stands for? That would mean there's separate wagons with 1st class, I guess. Or maybe used to be. Rarely deployed.

Ah, sorry I assumed! That's what it stands for in Switzerland, Austria and Germany at least. Though to be fair, out of those, Switzerland is the only one where I've seen this on a regional train.
