I will confess that my first reaction was laughter and applause, and my second reaction was certainly not to regret my first.
That's messed up. Can't believe the world is like this now, where we celebrate the death of people we don't like.
We celebrate the deaths of people we do like also. At funerals usually or as martyrs.
But beyond that what do you suggest?
Celebrating the deaths of fascists and Nazis is an American tradition.
Or at least should be.
Well yeah, but the problem is who gets to decide what a fascist is, what the criteria is for identifying one. It's pretty easy for individuals to convince themselves of the righteousness of their own opinions, to the point where you start justifying vigilantism.
It's pretty easy to identify a fascist. If you support any single thing Trump, Putin, or Netanyahu has done, then you deserve the same fate as Kirk. No exceptions.
Ah, so then we should kill approximately half of the country? And all of the Jews in Israel? I can't believe I'm having this conversation...
Yes in order to get out of this rat fucked world we live in. I'm also not gonna be partisan in this. There's plenty of Dems and libs that fall into this, including those that love to spew that "Israel has a right to defend itself" garbage.
Dang dude, that's pretty messed up
It's what happens when you've been dealing with the evil of conservatives and the complicity of liberals for decades. It's why I view voting as pretty pointless since the only people worth having that power will never have it. I do it to give myself something to do since I usually just get bored on my days off. However I don't vote for either major party. I look up who comes the closest to my mindset in third parties at every level of government from DC to town mayor and go for them.
It's not even close to half of the US, more like ~30% or so.
Lol, well I don't think that really changes my point...
Tolerance for the intolerant is a suicidal mistake.
Well in this example one guy is dead. Hard to get less tolerant than murdering someone because of their opinions.
Ironic talk coming from a pro-genocide zionist such as yourself. Maybe the shooter declared that Kirk was a terrorist before shooting him, making it perfectly justified, right?
No he most likely declared him to be a fascist, making it perfectly justified in his mind. Also I'm not a pro genocide zionist.
