Why would Israel assassinate a guy who they know helped put Trump in power.

Why would I eat ice cream after I just had too much pizza? Because I like doing it!

There are so many other people they could kill who are much more important for them to kill like the Thunberg...

There are so many things I could have done that are much more important for me like exercising or drinking water. But eating ice cream took less effort and provided me immediate gratification that water wouldn't.

Kirk had nothing more to contribute to the Israeli genocide right now, and killing Greta would immediately lead to fingers pointing at them. Shooting a figure like this can cause turmoil on your ally's home turf while they all blame each other, while still providing power to your frontlines. The only thing better than a powerful ally is a powerful ally that you can easily defeat because they're easy to trip.

I'm not saying that I support and conspiracy theories on this, just that your arguments don't hold enough water. I agree that this would be pretty stupid for them to do, but look at how things worked out with Khashoggi.
