No worries. And yes, build something. Shipping containers are overrated. I currently own three.....lol. A neighbour built a container home, when I mentioned a desire to do the same she firmly said "don't".

Now the first container that I bought has a small side window, and brackets on top to facilitate some kind of roof. Good for a bit of insulation. ( Well a barrier of sorts from the sun ) They really do cook. It has a small side roller door too. I reckon I will keep that one after I finish building a house here. It cost me $2000 so not bad at all.

The one in the pic, well the previous owner wanted $3600. I paid $1000 for it because they're simply not worth a lot.

I've watched a lot of YT vids about container homes, and in the same vein as your comment, it seems that we might as well just build a new thing.
