Constantly flabbergasted by the sheer levels of cowardice on display by every. single. institution in this country.
I think it's people not wanting to lose their jobs. They killed jobs so you have to hang on to the one you have. Even if it's against your morals.
Does your family go hungry for principles? Quite the question.
In this case yes. It's the fucking holocaust museum licking Nazi boots. There are other jobs.
If anyone should understand the lessons of fascist appeasement learned in WW2, you'd think it would be the people running a Holocaust museum. Go figure.

Fuck their jobs. Everyone who ever stood up for anything had a job to lose. They’re cowards, they’re complicit, and this goes for EVERY American sitting at home wringing their hands about the far right and doing fuck all about it.
Just say No, Sara Bloomfield. You've been a literal director of a Holocaust museum for decades, what part of that job taught you to hide your head in the sand.
it's well beyond cowardice at this point. they're eager to comply the second an EO is so much as hinted at. this is absolute subservience and I hope history remembers them.
I'm constantly flabbergasted that Americans continue to expect institutions to do the resisting while they do nothing.

And the people being blamed are the people considered to be in charge of the institutions. Not the other people "following orders", not the people still patronizing the institutions, and not the people complaining about the institutions doing nothing why they do nothing themselves.
What do you mean, nothing? They did a parade and made signs! It was the BIGGEST parade! They all said “we don’t like this!” That wasn’t at all a big clown show- totally effective.
That’s why leaders of companies and organizations make the big bucks. They’re there to make tough decisions and set a good example for the rest of us.
They gotcha by the mortgages.
