I'm planning a future eMTB project and I'm trying to get the tools that I need. What repair stand would guys recommend?

I have one of these that is supposedly eBike capable. It works fine for me at home, though I haven't had anything that heavy on it. I have to admit the Park stands we have at work, which have a very heavy metal plate anchoring them to the floor, are pretty nice, but this one works reasonably well for a lot less money and offers portability. I used it to build my gravel bike, and for most of my maintenance since then.

I did accidentally scratch one of my bikes on the bolt, but I don't see why the same thing couldn't happen with a better stand. (I tried spraying rubberized coating - Plasti-dip - on the end to try to avoid that issue in the future, but I'm not sure if it'll actually help.)

Note I've seen the same stand with different brand names on Amazon, so make sure you're getting the best price.

I got a velcro strap to tie it up when it's folded up.
