Quickest way to stop massive Russian losses: TURN AROUND and march your happy asses to Moscow, and have a few words with the shit bags in power.
Fuck, even just every soldier going home would cripple any ability to punish them for being AWOL.
They'd probably get killed by tactical nuclear. That's my theory what happened to that one mercenary leader when he stopped his march to Mozcow: He was threatened to be evaporated.
Didn't help him later.
Prigozhin likely didn't secure his family well enough from Putin. Send a hit squad to detain his wife and daughters and the "rebellion" was over.
Of course Prigozhin's days were numbered as soon as he started to rebel against Putin.
