oh and don't forget their consistent and very very visible refusal to take any real care of their wounded and poor veterans. it's not very motivating to grow up KNOWING that if you join the military and get hurt bad enough you'll likely end up homeless.
Yup, as I said, many reasons. Out of touch leadership is just one.
