I interpreted this as implying that the bits of food hiding in the water are small or pulverized.

I understand stew to just be less watery. barely enough liquid to cover the chunks.

you could repurpose this headline to literally any creative or journalistic industry these days. "x industry is being propped up by underpaid freelancers" is just a fact of life now. it's just so much cheaper when you don't owe them any benefits or dignity or anything at all in fact.

interesting, i figured it couldn't be 1918 because the swastika wasn't associated with facism yet, but the swastika was just added later i guess.

i also have autism and i don't think that last statement is even true for most autistic people.

there's a "16" under the signature. that's typically a date signifier. I'm gonna guess this is modern from 2016.

sometimes i put in on my knees, but I'm almost never in a situation where i want to game, but don't have a table.

like, sure, i could spend $1000+ dollars on a mobile solution to compliment my desktop. or i can take my existing hardware and have a pretty good time with it while traveling or waiting for someone or something. it feels like people are trying to come up with silly reasons for this to not work. why would you think i would try to hold the phone in my hands too?

how does needing to put the phone down defeat the purpose on not bringing an entire extra $1000+ dollar gaming machine with me? i mean sure, i could play 2 generations old games on a laptop for a lot less than that, but i haven't spent a single penny on my mobile setup. it's not about being the ideal setup, it was about realizing i could use my existing tools to do interesting things like play my favorite childhood Gameboy games whenever and wherever.

you don't even need a special case for it. i just use a pop socket to stand it up or hang it off something. again, something I already had.

you can turn off watch history all together and it will just give you generic related videos on the side.

it would be more like if someone intentionally painted that bottle to attract them then iterated that design using an the money in the world to perfect it. it's almost Eldritch horror shit if it wasn't just another person trying to make money.

yeah, if anything they might collectivize it like "emoji-tachi". though I've never heard it used that way.

ahh yes, the loophole that has non dictators absolutely flummoxed. can't be a genocide if you don't blow up ALL of the aid. this is just sparkling mass shooting.

i mean... why? i just toss the controller i already owned in my bag when traveling and have thousands of old games. phone sits up on the table with its case. to me this is a much not sensible and reasonable thing than a handheld console. i don't need the latest aaa games every time I'm not at my pc. i haven't even spent any money on this yet. i already owned all of this for other purposes.

you can use any Bluetooth controller with phones these days. including standard xbox ones.

i love it for emulating old Nintendo games

Luka likes to bury her face into my hand sometimes. it's the best.

this feels like a meme format, but I don't know what it would say.

stopped by my favorite birding spot after work and had these fellas fly in over my head. guest appearance by a great blue heron.

shot on sony a7siii with a tamron 150-500. all handheld and after the sun was behind the mountains, so you'll have to excuse some shakiness and focus issues.

music: creep - original song by Radiohead - performed by scott bradlee's post modern jukebox.

I'm sick as hell right now and this pulled up right outside my front door last night. stepped out to take a picture because nothing felt real for a moment. then i started coughing and kind of regretted it. worth it?
