Also, according to QI, apparently the penguins falling over to watch planes is a myth too.
Penguins slide around on the bellies, I would assume they can get up on their own
It is also basic logic that those numbers don't add up. 24/2000 = 43 seconds. Assuming 12 hours of daylight it is down to about 20 seconds. There is not a lot you can do in 20 seconds. And certainly not pick up 32 penguins every 20 seconds for 12 hours straight.
Challenge accepted.
I remember this being a Bloom County joke.
