For note, i did notice quite some people larping as Philippine Maoists on various reddit subs and they are always coming with superhot takes like "Government is only a step from falling to our millions strenghts army and 90% support among the people, the only thing keeping them alive is Chinese help"
Or at least, i hope those are westerners larping because if those are real then holy shit.
