I'm starting to think that it's a Christian thing to do jack shit of what they claim their faiths follow. Because that technically falls both into worshipping and - if you want to stretch it - Blood Magic. Isn't the Blood of the Lord (well, wine) the only sacred one?
"It is not real christianity" is one of the oldest and most boring takes ever, dating literally from even before it was accepted as state religion by Rome.
It is real, it exist.
