Yep. Most people want to be either 'pro Israel' or 'pro Palestine' which in their simplistic view means anti-the-other-side at all costs. I think Israel deciding enough is enough and ending Hamas is fair. I also think loss of innocent Palestinian lives is unfair, which makes things very complicated.
Do you think Palestine saying enough is enough and killing Israel is fair?
I think there is a big difference between 'Hamas' and 'Palestine', and if you're referring to the attack on the music festival and nearby villages, and hostage taking, then no I don't think that's fair.
Just a general question.
If Palestinians attacked Israel would that also be fair for you?
I think you're picking on my use of the word 'fair', which is probably fair enough (heh). The situation is too complicated and obviously atrocities have been committed by both sides, and many attacks have already happened from both sides. You need to first ask whether Israel should even exist as it is now, which I honestly don't think I know enough about to have a strong opinion. I used to think that it was an abomination to be honest. I think ive changed my thoughts to more like "well, it's there now, let's make it work?". It's from that perspective that I made my opinion in the previous comment. All that said i'm no geopolitics expert, just a curious observer airing my thoughts 🤷♂️
