Fullscreen works just as fullscreen should: the screen is fully used by the application. Idk, it looks normal, just like the app is in fullscreen. You don't see the waybar if that's what you're wondering about.

Yes that was my question indeed, thanks. Would like to set up something similar for myself, so it's called waybar then?

Yup! The bar at the top is called waybar. With css you can make it look pretty much however you want. The kinds and number of modules is also dictated with another config file. There are tons of prebuilt configs out there, but making this one was quite fun
