Very nice โœจ

One thing I've always been curious about with rice's like these, how do fullscreen applications look whit this setup? Considering the divided bars at the top.

Fullscreen works just as fullscreen should: the screen is fully used by the application. Idk, it looks normal, just like the app is in fullscreen. You don't see the waybar if that's what you're wondering about.

Yes that was my question indeed, thanks. Would like to set up something similar for myself, so it's called waybar then?

Yup! The bar at the top is called waybar. With css you can make it look pretty much however you want. The kinds and number of modules is also dictated with another config file. There are tons of prebuilt configs out there, but making this one was quite fun

Thanks ๐Ÿ˜Š

I assume they're using waybar but essentially, it's a transparent taskbar.

[-] ccdfa@lemm.ee 2 points 1 year ago

Yes, though it doesn't need to be transparent

Nice, what config or apps are these?

[-] ccdfa@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

I mean this screenshot pretty much only shows my Waybar config, parts of my hyprland config, and the kitty (terminal emulator) config. I tried to do all the styling by myself by just building off the default configs

Also for proof I'm a psycho, look at the graphics card lmao

(I actually don't know why this is so hyped up as being difficult to achieve)
