/I haven’t watched pokemon in 20+ years
I used to watch Pokemon on Cheez TV before school, but I'd always miss the end as I needed to leave for school.
I'm assuming it's one of those newfangled "shiny" things.
"Newfangled"? Shinies have existed since Gen 2. Granted, they've been made absurdly more common in recent gens. I think originally they were like a 1/1024 chance.
