The thread in the other place from someone thinking they were ripped off by their property manager is a trainwreck.
OP has now learned that monthly rent is not 4× the weekly rent.
And a bunch of commenters have learned that there aren't exactly 52 weeks in a year either.
Classic.
I made that mistake too when I first got to Australia. Understandable if they're new!
